Villa Bella is a beautiful private and secure, two-bedroom residence situated in a quiet laneway off Jalan Penestanan Kelod. It is close to rice field walks, about a dozen cafes and restaurants, yet only twenty minutes’ walk or a few minutes by taxi to the centre of Ubud.

Once you walk up the ramp entrance and enter Villa Bella, you are in your own tropical paradise, free to relax and enjoy the privacy of the small gardens, pool and other facilities. The villa is a short walk to many local cafes; just around the corner from a yoga and meditation centre; beside a wonderful spa (Star Child 2) and has road access right to the front door.

It’s just a 3 minute walk from the main Penestanan road and the adjacent taxi office to beautiful Villa Asri. It is set is a lush tropical garden with a 7m pool. The villa and gardens are surrounded by a 2.5m high wall, ensuring your privacy and security in your personal paradise.

This magnificent villa has two air-conditioned bedrooms, each with large, well-appointed en-suite bathrooms. All rooms open onto the pool and the living room, dining area and kitchen open directly onto the garden, and pool as can be seen in the photos below. This creates a relaxing and exotic ambiance. The thatch-roofed, carved gazebo / bale in the garden has a dayben in it. This is a great place to read, doze or simply relax.

The kitchen is fully equipped, but the many cafes nearby are so appealing and inexpensive, you may prefer to eat there or order take aways instead of cooking for yourselves. A tropical breakfast is prepared daily by the villa caretaker who also services the villa and pool each day. He is also very willing to answer your questions about Ubud and the many sight-seeing options. There are many spas and yoga classes available nearby and in Ubud which is only a 15 to 20 minute walk away or 5 minutes by taxi.

A wander along paths near Villa Asi leads you to shady river walks and rice paddy walks. Paradise is at your doorstep.

Villa Bulan Mas ( Golden Moon ) is nestled 30ms. along a private lane off Jln. Penestanan Kelod. This unique beautiful villa has two air-conditioned Bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom, king sized beds ( one King sized bed can be made into 2 King Singles ) and ample wardrobe space.

It’s open plan living room, dining area and kitchen look out onto the 8 meter pool.
The pool area has two sun beds with an umbrella.

At the other end of the pool area is a gorgeous antique Javanese day bed with cushions, perfect for relaxing after a busy day sightseeing or with a good book chosen from the extensive collection from our library.

The villa also has an automatic washing machine, should you choose to do your own laundry ( although there are numerous choices for your laundry on the main road).
Villa Bulan Mas is 5 to 20 minutes walk from numerous great restaurants and Warungs. Also within easy walking distance is a yoga centre, meditation centre and a lovely Spa.

Villa Paradise is a recently built, stunning and spacious villa. Only 200 meters from the road and taxi stand you enter a lovely garden edged walkway to this secure and private villa. It is only a 20 minute walk or a few minutes by car or motor bike to the centre of Ubud.

This magnificent villa has 2 air-conditioned bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms. The large living area, which has a beautiful 100 year old carved centre piece with Dutch colonial lights, looks out onto the 10 metre pool and the lush garden. An added benefit for parents of young children is the removable pool fence which is installed if requested. The living area can be closed off from the garden and pool, which is a bonus for young families. 

There are many rice fields and cafes & restaurants nearby with more than 10 cafes within easy walking distance. Also nearby there are yoga and meditation centres and popular Spas.

The bale/gazebo with a day bed for lounging is in the garden and there are sun beds with a shade umbrella on a deck by the pool. They are all awaiting you and are perfect places for you to relax, read a book or just appreciate being in the tropical garden.

This boutique villa has two air conditioned bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms. Its open-plan living room, dining area and kitchen look out on to a 5 meter pool (with sun beds) and the gardens. The villa also has its own laundry with a large automatic washing machine.

Mimpi means ‘to dream’, and this Villa is the perfect place to do exactly that. This stunning private two-bedroom villa is set in a large, lush tropical garden in the village of Penestanan, just five minutes by taxi or a pleasant twenty-minute walk from the centre of Ubud.

The villa and garden are totally secluded and secure, fully surrounded by a high stone wall. The
property is on a six hundred square metre block, three times the size of many other villas in the area. Villa Mimpi is situated three hundred metres down a lane off the main street of Penestanan, at a junction of several small streams which is part of the “World Heritage listed Subak irrigation system”.

Antique carved doors lead from the lane way into a slice of paradise offering a relaxing and
rejuvenating break. Whether you laze in the thatched gazebo, swim in the sparkling pool, siesta
peacefully on the daybed in the living area or choose a book from our small library to read on the terrace overlooking the village, this is your villa to enjoy in complete seclusion.
Behind a second set of carved doors, the terrace is roofed and has comfortable furniture for
enjoying meals or sundowners. The terrace is private but provides a wonderful place to watch and
interact with the local people going about their daily lives. Within the garden, the ten metre
swimming pool is right next to the living area and bedrooms, perfect for a swim at any time of the day or night.

The villa consists of high-quality fittings offering a luxury home away from home and includes
recycled teak furniture, statues and art work. The owners visit several times a year and ensure
that everything is well maintained.

Villa staff will meet you when you arrive and carry your luggage down the path. They will reappear to make your breakfast at a pre-arranged time, discreetly clean and tidy the villa and pool. Penestanan is a lively farming village with many good inexpensive restaurants, cafes, food shops, motor bike hire and magical spas. Tourists are well catered for but there are still many more local people than visitors. There are endless small paths to explore through the village and surrounding rice fields. Morning walks are an ideal way to discover the quiet back-roads to neighbouring villages.
